Outpatient Didactics

We've started the outpatient didactics in continuity clinic on Thurseday April 24th, 2014. All residents are encouraged to arrive at clinic before 1:10 for a 10-20 minute discussion of an outpatient topic.

Some of the topics presented:

• 4/24/14 - Dr. Ratnayake: hyper and hypothyroidism; approach to diagnosis, management, and Differential
• 4/28/14 - Dr. Petersen: when to screen the patient for obesity, hypertension, depression, dyslipidemia

On Wednesday 4/30/14 Dr. Petersen will be discussing pap smears, mammogram, colon cancer screening as well as immunizations in the adult and elderly. Please prepare when time permits.
